The lecture is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday, March 16, at St. Catherine’s Church Hall, 4 Riverside Ave., Riverside, according to event organizers.

Scheduled to speak during the event are Greenwich Police Community Impact Officers Dan Paladino, Keith Hirsch and Sgt. John Thorme, according to organizers, who said the talk will “cover both motor vehicle break-ins and home burglaries” and will discuss tips for preventing such crimes.

According to organizers, the officers will answer any questions about the recent string of thefts in the Riverside area.

The church hall is located beneath the parish church. Organizers urge anyone who may have a physical handicap to park in the lot near the Bishop Curtis home entrance where there is hall access for those unable to use the stairs.
