Greenwich Police Reporting More Smash-And-Grab Thefts From Cars

GREENWICH, Conn. — Greenwich police are investigating nearly 25 thefts from cars this year, according to Greenwich Time, which said nearly a half-dozen of the most recent have been smash-and-grab incidents.

In five cases since late February, suspects have used hammers or other blunt objects to shatter car windows and then grab valuables, according to Greenwich Time.

Police are also investigating multiple thefts of "high-end vehicles" in residential neighborhoods, Greenwich Time said.

Any suspicious activity should be reported to police.
