Crash Causes Delays On The Merritt In Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. — The Greenwich Fire Department responded to a one-car crash Tuesday morning on the southbound side of the Merritt Parkway in Greenwich.

The crash was reported just after 8 a.m. near Exit 31.

The fire department said both lanes were initially blocked with, cars getting by on the shoulder.

The Department of Transportation said one lane had reopened, but traffic was backed up about 4 miles in the area.
