Greenwich Students Team With Junior League For Senior Celebration

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Done in a Day Committee of the Junior League of Greenwich, along with middle school students from Greenwich Catholic School, volunteered their time to celebrate the fall harvest season with seniors from Community Centers Inc. at Agnes Morley in Greenwich.

This social event held in late October created a multi-generational project, designed for everyone to enjoy an afternoon of arts and craft activities.

Sam Bridge Nursery and Greenhouse in Greenwich, donated the gourds and plant materials for everyone to be able to decorate a festive gourd to take home and enjoy the autumn season. Sam Bridge also provided one of its own designers to provide guidance to everyone in the process of decorating.
