The website, which among other things, provides detailed information for students and parents regarding school choice, ranked the schools on a number of factors, including SAT/ACT scores, expert insights and parent and student reviews.
Two Westchester schools were among those listed, including the Rye Country Day School (42), in Rye, and the Hackley School (51) in Greenburgh.
Two schools Greenwich, Conn., -- the Greenwich Academy and the Brunswick School -- also made the cut, ranking 45th and 65th, respectively, according to Niche.com.
In northern New Jersey, the Collegiate School in Passaic (89) and the Dwight-Englewood School in Englewood (92) also made the list.
Several private schools in New York City and elsewhere in New Jersey and Connecticut were listed as well.
