A Greenwich woman was busted for shoplifting at the Apple store after security spied her stashing items in her bag without paying for them, according to the Greenwich Police.
Berkley O'Connell, 37, was arrested after police were called to the Apple store on Greenwich Avenue for alleged shoplifter late Saturday afternoon, said the arrest report.
When officers arrived on scene they found security officials had detained O’Connell after she was seen taking the merchandising, including an adapter, power chords and a Magic Keyboard, putting them in her bag and then walking out of the store, the report said.
The merchandise taken was worth several hundred dollars.
She was charged with larceny. Bail was set at $1,000.
