A Greenwich woman was nabbed for leaving the scene of a crash after a police officer saw the wanted vehicle parked in a garage.

Katherine Aurora, 45, was arrested Monday after she was involved in a crash on Cat Rock Road, in Cos Cob and left the scene without providing the other driver her driver's license or vehicle information, said Greenwich PD Lt. David Nemecek.

The victim was able to provide officers with the license plate number but they were unable to contact the driver, he said.

Later in the evening, an officer noticed the vehicle in an open garage with damage matching the victim's damage, Nemecek said.

Aurora was charged with evading responsibility and failure to drive in proper lane. She posted $100 bail.
