Officers from the New Canaan Police Department were dispatched shortly before 12:45 a.m. on Saturday morning to a Jelliff Mill Road residence, where there was a reported domestic dispute involving two people.

The investigation into the incident determined that Westport resident Francis Blair Wylie, 33, allegedly had a gun and threatened to use it to harm his victim.
