A domestic dispute led to the arrest of a 20-year-old man who was in violation of an active restraining order.
Officers from the Greenwich Police Department were dispatched to Lafayette Court at approximately 5 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, where there was a report of a man and woman who were yelling at one another.
Police said that the investigation found that Greenwich resident Kevin Agudelo, one of the participants in the shouting match, was under a restraining order issued on behalf of the woman he was arguing with.
Agudelo was arrested at the scene and charged with criminal violation of a restraining order. He was unable to post $1,000 bail and was placed in a cell block at the Greenwich Police Department. He is due in Stamford Superior Court on Wednesday morning for arraignment. Check Daily Voice for updates.
