A rollover crash involving a dump truck has backed up traffic on Route 8 for miles with only the left lane open and two lanes blocked, according to Connecticut State Police.
The crash happened around 1:58 p.m. Monday in Bridgeport near Exit 2, said Connecticut State Police spokesperson Trooper Kelly Grant.
Grant said there was entrapment and a person had to be extricated from the dump truck.
At 3:20 p.m., only the left lane was open, Grant said.
