GREENWICH, Conn. – Barbara Ann Dulemba, 79, died Saturday, Oct. 17 at Calvery Hospital in the Bronx, New York, after a brief illness.
She was born July 21, 1936, the daughter of Edward and Anne Gola Dulemba. She graduated from St. Mary's Parochial School and then Greenwich High School in 1954.
She began a career in the banking field at the First National Bank (Union Trust) that lasted for decades. She ended her employments at Razooks Inc. Highlights in her life were her visits to Poland with her mother and meeting new relatives and friends. Thereafter, she became "Basia" as she was called in Poland.
She was predeceased by her parents, one brother and one niece.
She is survived by a brother Edward (Mary Louise); three nieces; a nephew; six grand-nephews; and two grand-nieces.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Castiglione Funeral Home, 544 Old Post Road, Greenwich. A Mass of Christian burial will be held conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Church, 178 Greenwich Ave., Greenwich.
