The region should see an extended period of dry weather over the next several days, according to the National Weather Service. Wednesday is expected to be sunny, with a high near 70. There will be a light and variable wind becoming a west wind of 5 to 8 mph in the morning. Wednesday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 45.

Thursday will be sunny, with a high near 72. There will be a light southwest wind, with some gusts as high as 22 mph possible. Thursday night will be clear, with a low around 47.

It will remain sunny on Friday, when the high will be near 70. Friday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 46.

Saturday is expected to be sunny, with a high near 69. The night will be mostly clear, with a low around 48. Sunday will also be sunny, with a high near 70. Sunday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 52.

The next chance of rain may come next week, with the approach of a cold front Monday into Tuesday.
