FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – It’s looking to be a warm week for Fairfield County with a possibility of snow mid-week.

Temperatures should stay in the mid- to high-40s all week, Accuweather meteorologist Tom Kines said. Tuesday should even have a decent amount of sunshine.

A snow storm coming up from the south could bring significant snow fall if the storm moves further north.

“The exact track is still a bit of a question mark,” Kines said. But right now, he said, the storm looks as though it will hit the mid-Atlantic region rather than New England.

If it does move further north, Kines said that there's the potential for significant snow fall over Wednesday night into Thursday.

The end of the week should be very much like the start, with temperatures in the mid- to upper-40s and sunshine on Friday.

“I would think that at some point over the weekend we’ll probably have to deal with precipitation, possibly just a couple of showers,” Kines said. But with the warmer temperatures the likely hood of snow decreases.
