While the amount won't come close to Thursday's totals -- most towns in the county got between 10-14 inches -- the National Weather Service is forecasting light snow for Friday evening. There is also a chance of light snow on Saturday morning. More snow is forecast for early Sunday morning, but forecasters predict it will quickly turn to rain.

In Thursday's storm, New Fairfield received the most snow, with 14.5 inches, according to the NWS. Click here to see snowfall totals as reported by the NWS.

Temperatures will remain cold on Friday, with highs only reaching the upper 20s. Saturday should be warmer, with temperatures expected in the high 30s and low 40s, while Sunday's temperatures should hover in the 30s. Monday's forecast calls for temperatures in the high 30s, but breezy.

In the extended forecast, the NWS forecast predicts a relatively calm week for most of next week, with neither rain nor snow in its seven-day outlook beyond Sunday. Click here for the NWS forecast.
