Heavy Downpours, Strong Winds Strike Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The area escaped serious damage as heavy rain and strong winds swept through the area on Wednesday.

The remnants of what was once the powerful Hurricane Patricia brought heavy rains, totaling as much as 2 inches in some areas. 

But there is good news for Thursday, as the National Weather Service calls for better weather with lessening winds and rain before becoming sunny with a high temperature of 73 degrees.
