FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Sunday will be a perfect spring day across Fairfield County, with sunny skies, highs in the mid-60s and mild breezes. It's a bit cool but still great for getting outside to garden or to have fun.

But that will all change by Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

As clouds move in overnight, there is a chance of showers, mainly after 4 a.m., and will temperatures drop to about 50 degrees.

The chance of precipitation Monday is 90 percent, with occasional showers and thunderstorms possible after 10 a.m. Up to an inch of rainfall is possible, with temperatures only inching up to about 60 degrees.

Showers will continue into Monday evening, with a low around 53.

Tuesday will be partly sunny, with a high near 71. But the rain could return Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the Weather Service said.
