FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Temperatures will drop to below normal on Thursday in Fairfield County, but are expected to warm up to the upper 40s this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Thursday will be sunny, with a high near 31, and wind chill values between 5 and 15. Thursday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 17, and a west wind around 6 mph.

It will be mostly sunny on Friday, when the high will be near 36. Wind chill values will be between 15 and 25. Friday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 24.

Temperatures will warm up to a high near 49 on Saturday, well above normal for this time of year. It will be mostly sunny, with a west wind between 8 and 11 mph. Saturday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 28.

Sunday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 45. It will be mostly cloudy on Sunday night, when the low will be around 28.

It will cool down a bit on Monday, when the high will be near 38. It will be mostly cloudy during the day, with a 30 percent chance of rain after noon.
