This is very upsetting to hear. Clearly this mother is going thru some issues. What kind of issues is the unknown. However her daughter should not see her mom drunk (1), and (2) driving. The kids were upset and I can see why. But what seems odd here is where is the husband/father? Who is this "family friend"? A lot of unanswered questions here. I think they should not say where the check point will be. I think it's great that they have check points because people who drink & Drive normally kill innocent people and the drunks usually Make it out with maybe a scratch or two. Damn shame!!!! If your going to drink, don't drive. View Comment

I agree with the cops....no one told and/or threatened this kid to take the gun and steal. What the heck is this kid carrying a gun for at the age of 18? Just trying to "be down", "be cool", "be excepted". Darn shame!!!! View Comment
