'Safety Town' For Kids Coming To Greenwich Kids will have a chance to learn all about safety during Safety Town a one-week safety education program offered that teaches awareness and accident prevention skills to children entering kindergarten in the fall. Originally brought to the area by the Junior League of Greenwich, Safety Town is now a program offered by the American Red Cross Greater New York Region. Led by teachers, police officers, firefighters, EMS and other community helpers, children will have a chance to learn on a specially designed kid-sized “Safety Town” layout. Business Showcase Features 75 Exhibitors In Greenwich Greenwich Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Business Showcase at Eastern Greenwich Civic Center on Thursday,, April 26.  About 75 exhibitors showcased their businesses including numerous food and wine presenters.  The purpose of this event, which is called the biggest business networking event of the year, is to promote local business in the area.
