Rutgers Pro-Palestinian Group Stages Protest Amid Suspension
A pro-Palestinian group at Rutgers University staged a protest after being suspended from the school earlier this week.
Students for Justice in Palestine took to the steps of a building on campus, chanting "Free, free Palestine," and, "Israel is a racist state," on Thursday, Dec. 14.
Officials cited complaints of violating university policy, including disruption of classes, meals, and studying students; improper behavior by campus guests, and inappropriate use of space, in announcing SJP's suspension.

Update: Westchester County Exec Latimer Officially Announces Bid For Congress Against Bowman
Westchester County Executive George Latimer has officially announced his intention to launch a Congressional Democratic primary challenge for New York's 16th District seat.
Latimer, age 70, announced his campaign in a video posted to social media on Wednesday morning, Dec. 6, in which he said he is "ready to deliver" for constituents within the 16th district.
The 16th district is made up of the southern part of Westchester, including the suburban cities of White Plains, Mount Vernon, Yonkers, New Rochelle, and Rye, and a small portion of the northern Bronx.

Protesters Block Boston U Bridge To Demand Ceasefire In Gaza
Dozens of protesters have taken to the Boston University bridge between Cambridge and Boston on Thursday morning, Nov. 16, to call on politicians to demand a ceasefire in Gaza.
The group IfNotNow gathered on the bridge around 8 a.m., demanding that Sen. Elizabeth Warren support an immediate ceasefire.
