FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Wilton native and U.S. soccer legend Kristine Lilly will be the featured speaker for the Fairfield County Sports Commission's fifth annual Celebrity Breakfast, Thursday, May 3, at 7:30 a.m. at the Continental Manor in Norwalk.

Lilly, who has been on the commission's advisory board since the organization's inception, retired from playing in 2011 after a storied 24-year career with the U.S. national team. She is a two-time World Cup champion and twice won Olympic gold medals.

The breakfast is a fundraiser for the commission and its Chelsea Cohen Fitness Academy. It is a "tip your waiter" format where attendees are asked to make a suggested donation amount.

For more information or to purchase a table or reserve a seat for the breakfast, contact Tom Chiappetta at 203-984-4806, via email at tomchip21@aol.com or visit www.fairfieldcountysports.com.
