The highly anticipated announcement of which team NBA superstar LeBron James will sign with will take place in none other than Greenwich. According to multiple sources, LeBron will reveal his decision at the Greenwich Boys and Girls Club during a special one-hour broadcast on ESPN Thursday night at 9 p.m.
Knicks fans are hopeful that the proximity of the event of the announcement to the Knicks' training facility in Tarrytown, N.Y., is a good sign that the reigning NBA MVP is coming to New York. Several published reports have also reported that former Knick and Greenwich resident Allan Houston will be involved with the announcement.
In addition to the Knicks, LeBron has been rumored to be interested in signing with the Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls, New Jersey Nets, or returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
