Riverside's Annie Rosencrans scored with 2:41 left in the game Sunday to lift Skidmore College to a 4-3 victory over Eastern University and a berth in the NCAA Division III field hockey Final Four. Rosencrans, a junior, redirected a shot from Brittany O'Brien into the Eastern cage for Skidmore (20-1), which has won a school record 19 straight games.
Rosencrans, who played at Greenwich High School, also had an assist for Skidmore, which is in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Skidmore will play Bowdoin of Maine in the Final Four this weekend at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Va.
Rosencrans has started all 21 games for Skidmore. She has 19 goals and 10 assists and is second on the team with 48 points. She has four game-winning goals.
