Registration Opens For Youth Basketball Clinics In Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. – Registration opens Tuesday for the Youth Basketball Clinics running from Thursday, Nov. 6, through Thursday, Dec. 18. The clinics will be held at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center gym, the Department of Parks and Recreation has announced.

Registration for the clinics may be done via mail or in person at the Civic Center, starting Tuesday, Oct. 14. The cost is $110 per person.

The clinics will be from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m. for kindergartners, 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. for first- and second-graders and 5:15 to 6 p.m. for third- and fourth-graders, each Thursday from Nov. 6 to Dec. 18.

Coach John Czarnecki is teaching the junior basketball class. He is certified by the State of Connecticut and has coached for more than 25 years. He coached for the Greenwich Basketball Association, Greenwich Flame travel team, Greenwich Boys & Girls Club, and the freshman, junior varsity and varsity basketball teams at Greenwich High School.
