The Greenwich-Stamford Swim will take place on Saturday, June 25 in the Long Island Sound on the border of Greenwich and Stamford at 96 Cummings Point Road.
Swimmers and volunteers will be joining together to "make waves" to defeat cancer.
Swimmers, boaters, kayakers, paddle boarders and land volunteers are encouraged to sign-up. Pool swim also is available as an option.
Those who register for the Greenwich-Stamford Swim by Tuesday, May 31 will receive a $100 bonus once minimum fundraising goals are met, thanks to a charitable Swim Across America supporter.
To sign up to swim, volunteer or donate visit the Swim Across America website.
Proceeds from the event go to the Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy, the nation’s only non-profit dedicated to cancer gene, cell and immunotherapy.
