Fairfield American made it to this game by outslugging Walla Walla, 14-6, in a game Monday night. That game was also delayed by lightning and rain but was able to start after a lengthy delay.

In their first meeting last Thursday in the opening game of the Little League, Fairfield defeated New Jersey, 7-6, in a tight contest.

The winner will play the loser of the game between Southeast and Southwest at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday for a chance at the U.S. championship game at the Little League World Series.
