Old Greenwich Student Heads To Dartmouth To Play Squash

OLD GREENWICH, CONN. – Sam Epley, a senior at The Masters School, has signed a letter of intent to play squash for Dartmouth and its Division I team next year.

Old Greenwich resident Sam Epley, a senior at The Masters School, has signed a letter of intent to play squash for Dartmouth for the next four years, where he will compete on the university’s Division 1 team.

Epley, a resident of Old Greenwich, has earned numerous accolades for his skill on the squash courts. He was recently named to the National Squash Team that will compete at the British Junior Open in January.

Back Stateside, Epley competed in the U.S. Junior Squash Championships held in Princeton earlier this year. In a 12-month period, his national boys under-19 ranking rose by 84 spots to qualify for the tournament.

His rapid rise earned him the William T. Ketcham Jr. Award for most improved in his age group.

Epley has been playing tournament squash for only four years.
