Any Greenwich resident may sign up online and select activity registration. Mail-in registration will begin Monday, Feb. 8. In-person registration begins Monday, Feb. 22.
There are two separate T-Ball programs for children who are 4 and 5 years of age. Four-year-old T-Ball is for children who will turn 4 by April 30. Five-year-old T-Ball is for children who will turn 5 by April 30.
The children will learn the basics of T-Ball with volunteer parent coaches. Small-sided games will be played between their teammates.
The program will meet from 12:15-1 p.m. every Saturday from April 23 through June 4, weather permitting.
In this program, the children will be divided into teams and practice will precede a three-inning game versus another team. Parents will receive a schedule and games will be played at designated times between 1-5 p.m. each Saturday for one hour at the Barradas field next to the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center.
The cost of the program is $93, which includes a team shirt and hat.
