Greenwich High Boys Track Team Set For A Strong Spring

GREENWICH, Conn. - The Greenwich High School boys track and field team is working hard to get ready for spring, Cardinals first-year Head Coach Mike McSherry is looking forward to a good season.

"We've got a great group of guys right now," McSherry said. "I'm excited to start my first year as head coach here. We have a new staff, and we're all excited to get the year going. We went 6-5 last year in a very tough league.

"We want to have fun, and also teach them as much as we can along the way. We have a lot of talented kids, some back from last year. And we have a bunch of talented freshmen, and young athletes. I think we'll be a balanced, strong team."

Greenwich is set to open the season April 9 at Danbury High School.
