The banquet will take place from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. June 10 at the Hyatt Regency, 1800 E. Putnam Ave.
“This year’s hall of fame is shaping up to be even bigger than our inaugural induction ceremony,” said Pat Mediate, GHS Sports Hall Of Fame Foundation chairman.
Eight former athletes, four former coaches and two undefeated teams will be inducted into the Class of 2015. Inductees are: Ken Bell, 1981, football, track and field (Denver Broncos); Anthony “Toto” Deluca, 1955, football (Green Bay Packers); Ceci Hopp, 1981, track and field (NCAA track champion at Stanford University); Charlie Hotetz, 1960, basketball and baseball; Charlie Luce, 1960s, coach; Kim O’Gorman, 1984, field hockey; Mike Ornato, 1970s-90s, football coach; Sandy Pendergast, 1970s-90s, cheerleading coach/adviser; Sam Rutigliano, 1960s, football coach (Cleveland Browns); Jeff Stiling, 1978, swimming; Ting Vanneman, 1963, track and field; Donald Ward, 1970, football and basketball (All-State); 1978 girls' track and field team; and 1963 football team.
