FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – Darien’s Jameson Love earned tournament MVP honors while men from Wilton, Greenwich, Fairfield, Easton and Weston also helped Bryant University win its first Northeast Conference lacrosse championship last weekend in Pennsylvania.
Love, a senior, made five saves in a 12-6 win versus Mount St. Mary’s in the conference title game. Greenwich’s Colin Dunster, a sophomore, had four goals and seven points in two games in the weekend tournament. He also was named to the all-tournament team.
Peter McMahon, a junior from Wilton, also had a goal in the championship game victory.
Bryant’s roster also includes Darien’s Tim Clinton, Weston freshman Robert Cordisco, who played in high school at Avon Old Farms; Easton brothers Rob and Kevin Maiorano, who played at Fairfield Prep; and Fairfield’s Teddy Mason, a junior who played in high school at Fairfield Ludlowe. Nearly all of the players from Fairfield County saw playing time in the conference title game.
Bryant finished the season 14-4. Among its losses was a 9-8 decision Feb. 25 at Fairfield.
The Bulldogs are coached by Wilton native Mike Pressler. The Northeast Conference does not receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament until next year.

There are three Maiorano brothers from Easton are on the Bryant Bulldogs: Rob Maiorano Sr. (two year captain), Glenn Maiorano Jr. and Kevin Maiorano, Freshmen, all who played for Fairfield Prep and had won 3 Connecticut State Championships combined.
You are correct, my mistake, thanks for pointing it out. The correction will be made in the story. Thanks for reading.
Maiorano brothers played at Fairfield Prep, not Barlow.
