DARIEN, Conn. – Darien’s Elizabeth Fitzpatrick added two more county diving titles in the girls 17-and-under division as the Fairfield County Swim League held its age group championships.

Fitzpatrick, competing for Tokeneke Club in Darien, won the girls 1- and 3-meter boards in the 17-and-under division. She compiled 399.8 points in the 3-meter, winning by more than 95 over Kirsten Parkinson of Long Ridge Club. Ariana Ross of New Canaan took third with 293.7.

Fitzpatrick's 3-meter total broke the record of 357.15 set by Katherine Mattison in 1998. Fitzpatrick has set six league records and won 11 county titles since 2007. She has won 1-meter titles in her age division every year since 2007. She did not compete in the 3-meter in 2008, but has won that event in every other year since 2007.

On the 1-meter, Fitzpatrick won with 340.15, followed by Parkinson with 330.2. Danielle DeNunzio of Riverside took third with 320.55.

In the boys 17-and-under, Long Ridge’s Sean Burston won on the 1-meter and Roton Point’s Jake Bowtell on the 3-meter. Bowtell took second on the 1-meter, followed by Bobby Ross of New Canaan Field Club. On the 3-meter, Ross took second and Burston was third.

In the 12-and-under diving, James Hopper of Greenwich Country Club and Amanda Pyne of Bailiwick in Greenwich swept the 1- and 3-meter boards. Wiley Schmidt of Newfield in Stamford took second and Owen Stevens of Innis Arden in Greenwich finished third in the boys 1-meter. Stevens took second on the 3-meter and Sam Scribano of Middlesex in Darien was third.

In the girls, Anne Farley of New Canaan Field Club finished second on the girls 1-meter, followed by Sydney Schrenker of Roton Point. Farley was second on the 3-meter, while Piper Van Wagenen was third.

The 14-and-under diving championships were also held earlier this week.
