The 29th annual race is part of the Betteridge Greenwich Cup series. Hosted by Threads and Treads in partnership with the Town of Greenwich Parks and Recreation, it offers participants a timed and scored event.

With more than 400 riders on average every year, riders embark on a smooth, well-kept road course through back-country Greenwich. Rolling climbs challenge the rider through the first half of them course and then descend them briskly to the finish.

Elite heats go off first and second, followed by an all-women's heat; concluded by a leisure heat to round out the race.
