Basketball Clinic Registration Begins

Are you ready to shoot some hoops? The Greenwich Department of Parks and Recreation is now providing registration forms for its youth basketball clinic to be held at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center. The program begins on Nov. 9 and runs for six weeks.

The clinic is divided into three age groups—kindergarten, first and second grade, and third and fourth grade. The program costs $100 per child. Coach John Czarnecki will teach the junior basketball classes. Coach Czarnecki is certified by the State of Connecticut, and has coached for over 25 years. He has coached for the Greenwich Basketball Association, Greenwich Flame travel team, Greenwich Boys and Girls Club, and the freshman, JV, and  varsity basketball teams at GHS.

Parks and Rec will begin accepting the registration forms by mail the week of Oct. 4 and they recommend getting a form sooner than later. In person registration at the Civic Center will not be accepted until Oct. 11.

For more information, or to receive a registration form, call, or stop by The Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center at 203-532-1259, or visit the Greenwich town website .
