Greenwich's Danny Balin shot a three-under-par 68 to take a three-shot lead into Thursday's final round of the Lincoln Met PGA Championship at Piping Rock Golf Club in Locust Valley, N.Y.
Balin, an assistant at Burning Tree, stands at six-under-par 136 through 36 holes. He leads by three shots over Rob Labritz of the host club. Mark Brown of Tam O'Shanter is four shots back.
Balin can win Met PGA Player of the Year honors with a victory. Fans can follow the tournament here .
