GREENWICH, Conn. — Greenwich schools are enjoying a snow day today, but students will have to make up the day on April 19, which was originally scheduled to be the final day of spring recess, according to the school district.

The Board of Education ruled in November that because of the week of school lost to Superstorm Sandy, students would have to make up the lost days during spring recess in the event of further snow days.

The final day of school for the Greenwich School District is scheduled for Monday, June 24 because of the snow that canceled school on Feb. 9.

Graduation for seniors is still scheduled for Friday, June 21.

If the school closes for any more snow days this year, more days of Spring Recess in April will become school days.
