Breaking News: Here Come The Storms: Wind Advisory For Southern Fairfield County

Library Hours Extended for Greenwich Students

GREENWICH, Conn. – Students may be feeling exam-time blues, but luckily they can cram in quiet during extended studying hours at the Greenwich Library in January.

The main library will remain open until 11 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, and Wednesday, Jan. 18, to coincide with the midterm schedules for private schools. It will also be open late Tuesday, Jan. 24, and Wednesday, Jan. 25, for public school students. The library will be primarily open for students, but anyone can use the facility during extended hours.

“This is the third time Greenwich Library has extended its hours for students during exam weeks, and we hope that they will once again take advantage of the additional time to prepare for their tests,” said Carol Mahoney, director of the Greenwich Library.

The library café will also extend its hours until 9 p.m. for students to purchase study break snacks. Library staff will be available to assist students with reference questions.
