GREENWICH, Conn. -- Greenwich Public Schools Superintendent William McKersie is scheduled to present a recommendation on possible changes in school start and dismissal times to the Board of Education on Thursday, May 12, at 7 p.m. at North Street School.

The School Start Time Steering Committee will hold a series of community engagement sessions in advance of and following the superintendent’s recommendation.

The sessions are designed to provide the Greenwich community with opportunities to learn about possible school start and dismissal time options and implications, and to provide feedback.

The community is invited to attend Board of Education and Start Time Steering Committee meetings over the next several months to follow the discussions of the options.

Details on the engagement opportunities may be found on the school district's web site.
