Greenwich Students Make Gains By Attending Summer School

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Most of the 780 Greenwich students who attended summer school this year made measurable academic progress with the extra classroom time, according to GreenwichTime.com.

While progress was made at all levels, some of the most noticeable improvements came from elementary school kids. Of the students who attended the six-week session and missed fewer than six days, 79 percent either maintained or increased their reading levels, greenwichtime.com said.
