Greenwich School Board Passes $143 Million Budget

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Greenwich Board of Education unanimously passed a budget for the 2014-15 school year on Thursday, Dec. 19, according to Patch.com. 

The Greenwich Board of Education approved a $143 million budget for the 20-14-2015 school year.

The $143 million budget constitutes a 2.1 percent increase over the 2013-14 budget, Patch.com reported. 

The new budget must now be approved by the Board of Selectmen as well as by the Board of Estimate of Taxation and the Representative Town Meeting, according to Patch.com.
