GREENWICH, Conn. All activities and athletic practices at Greenwich Public Schools are closed Monday because of power outages and road closures from downed trees and power lines related to Tropical Storm Irene, district officials said Sunday night.
It will be treated as a snow day closure for staff. Grade 6 and 9 students will have orientation Wednesday as planned. School kicks off for all students Thursday.
