Greenwich Kids Offer Help To Haiti With Dance Party For buildOn

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Greenwich middle schoolers are holding a laser tag dance party to help benefit children in Haiti.

The teens from Greenwich public and private schools are set to host the party Friday, Nov. 22, at the Arch Street Teen Center. The group is known as “Hand in Hand with Haiti,” to honor the 501(c)3 charity buildOn that is attempting to "break the cycle of poverty, illiteracy and low expectations through service and education" through building schools in underdeveloped countries.

"The girls chose to build a school in Haiti because they feel that the country has endured so much devastation from hurricanes, flooding and of course the earthquake that as America’s neighbor, the children of Haiti deserve this gift," a press release said. "One of the best gifts to give a child is the gift of an education."

Arch Street Teen Center is located at 100 Arch St. in Greenwich. For more information, visit the buildOn website
