A recommendation on whether to change start times will be made in May with a decision by the end of this school year, Greenwich Time said.

Superintendent of Schools William McKersie said the school district is studying its bus schedule and the effects of any start-time changes on transportation, the Time said.

The issue has been hotly debated this year, with students and parents calling for later schedules at Greenwich High, which now start at 7:30 a.m., and at the middle schools, which now start at 7:45 a.m., the Time said.
