GREENWICH, Conn. Dancers and alumni from the Greenwich Academy's dance department and the Moving Arts Collaborative recently celebrated the life of Madelyn O'Neil with an improvisational dance.
O'Neil, who died last year, was a dance teacher at Greenwich Academy and a founding member of the collaborative.
Meryl Green taught dance from 1982 to 1995 at the academy. She coordinated with Upper School Dance teacher Marcia Brooks in planning the event so all dancers could share their love of dance and honor the tradition of improvisation. Jane Milliken, a longtime supporter of the collaborative, said, "Dance is truly a lifelong sport."
