Students at Greenwich Academy honored their mothers last week with special readings and songs. Connecticut Class students hosted an early morning breakfast, while Pre-Connecticut girls chose a tea party for their afternoon celebration.

Each girl got the chance to read what she loved most about her mom. The girls’ sentiments included, “She plays with me,” “She asks me what I want for lunch” and “She loves me with her whole heart.”

The moms were served special treats while the girls sang songs like “My Mom Made It Better,” touting the healing powers of a mother’s touch, and “I Love My Mom,” a simple verse that ended with “… she is always right here in my heart.”
