The Realtor Hall of Fame is the highest honor presented to a member for a lifetime service to the real estate, industry and the Greenwich community.
Healy, a member of the National Association of Realtors and Connecticut Association of Realtors, has been a Realtor since 1988. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Greenwich Association of Realtors for several terms. She has served as vice president, secretary and has served three separate terms as Board President. She has also served on various committees, including Professional Standards, Grievance and Education and is a certified Realtor mediator.
She was a past Recipient of Realtor of the Year. She is a past director of the Connecticut Association of Realtors.
Healy became a partner in Shore and Country Properties in 1997 and previously was an agent and working manager with Smith Hekker & Collins, now part of Coldwell Banker.
She has worked as a volunteer on the board of Greenwich Woman’s Club, where she was responsible for helping to form the Greenwich Historic Bus Tours as well as serving on the Executive Board of many different PTA positions and as president of the Greenwich High School Varsity Hockey Booster Club.
She was an organizer and participant of Parent Assistors, who helped parents attend meetings for Individual Education Plans. In addition, she has volunteered for United Way and many other local charities and causes.
Healy married her high school sweetheart and raised two sons, Andy and Steve. The Healy family is third generation Greenwich natives. They have two granddaughters.
Healy was presented the Realtors Hall of Fame induction by Brad Hvolbeck, a former director of the board of GAR and 2004’s Realtor of the Year and a Hall of Fame member. Hvolbeck and Healy worked together during their tenures on GAR’s Board of Directors.
“Nancy has set the highest standard of excellence for all Realtors during her career. Nancy always employs the most ethical and fair-minded business practices and a sense of openness and cooperative spirit in all of her interactions," said Joann Erb, president of the Greenwich Association of Realtors.
"Nancy’s leadership has contributed to the success of the real estate industry. We owe her an enormous debt of gratitude for all of her contributions to our association and our town."
The Greenwich Association of Realtors is the professional board of choice for the real estate industry in Greenwich with over 800 members. Established in 1924, it provides professional development and support services for Realtors and represents the concerns and interests of private property and home ownership rights.
