David A. Edsall, 86, of Park Ridge

PARK RIDGE, N.J. -- David A. Edsall, of Park Ridge, died on Monday, Dec. 12. He was 86.

He was born in Bronx on July 11, 1930 to David A. and Hilda (Wicks) Edsall. Before retiring he was a computer analyst for Securities Industries Automation, NYC. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, a choir member for over 44 years and an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He is predeceased by his wife, Frances. He is survived by his children, David T. Edsall (Kathy), Diane F. Loughran and Kenneth M. Edsall (Kia); siblings, Helene (George) Deuben and Franklin Edsall who predeceased him this past July; grandchildren, Ryan, Brandon, Timothy and Erin Loughran, Krista, Kasey (Adam Girdner), Kori, Kana, Kenny and Klay Edsall, Laura (Vincent) Guariglia; and great grandchildren, Sadie and Nolan Girdner and Louis Guariglia.

Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 16, at Zion Lutheran Church, Westwood. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Thursday at the Robert Spearing Funeral Home, Inc., 155 Kinderkamack Road, Park Ridge. Interment in Ascension Cemetery, Airmont. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations in his name to St. Jude Make-A-Wish Foundation, a Hospice or charity of your choice. He generously supported many charities.
