POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- William A. Perre, 58, of Poughkeepsie, died Oct. 15.
He was born Feb. 1, 1958, in Yonkers.
After graduating from West Babylon High School, he attended Wilfred Beauty Academy. In 1981, he moved to Poughkeepsie to begin his lifelong career as a hairdresser, educator and salon owner.
He is survived by his parents, Anthony and Celeste Chiariello Perre; wife, Kathy; children, Anthony Perre and Taylor Perre; and sisters, Patricia Bradley and her husband, John and Tina Wilde and her husband, Michael.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls. A memorial Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mount Alvernia Chapel, 158 Delavergne Ave., Wappingers Falls.
