Rasheed Marks, 30, and Jamaal McRae, 26, were charged with first-degree robbery, a felony, for an armed robbery incident that occurred on Jan. 6, police said. Two men who were picked up on West Main Street forced a Metro Taxi cabdriver to drive to the rear of 3 Westchester Plaza at 11 p.m., where the driver was pistol-whipped and beaten by the suspects, police said.

The suspects then stole the driver's money and the keys to his cab, police said.

Marks and McRae were held by Greenburgh police, awaiting arraignment Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. before Honorable Judge Walter Rivera.
