FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Ida Perlstein died on Friday, Jan. 23 at The Jewish Home for the Elderly of Fairfield. She was 98.
She was born in Uniontown, Pa., a daughter of Harry and Dora Walowitz.
Perlstein was predeceased by her husband, Albert Perlstein.
She is survived by her children, Sondra Germain and her husband Jack; Bruce Perlstein and his wife Lauren; eight grandchildren; and five great-granddaughters.
Services were Monday at the Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Road in Fairfield, with burial following at Loyalty Cemetery of Burroughs Road in Fairfield. Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
